We are currently looking for a full time Training Coordinator to join our Matthews team.
The Training Coordinatorwill be responsible for the overall coordination of all training materials and programs for the plant.
Monitors, measures, and evaluates effectiveness of training and development plans to ensure objectives continuously meet business needs and promote organizational efficiency.

Participatory management
When your actions lead to success.
Responsible for the design, implementation, evaluation, and organization of classroom and alternative training solutions.
Ensure that safety risks are highlighted in training and are made clear to the trainees.
Actively creates and maintains customized training calendars for all departments.
Maintains open lines of communication with leadership in all departments to understand their development goals and share progress updates.
Reviews employee performance to determine user needs and assess performance gaps (training needs assessment) and develops training solutions in response to findings.
Utilizes a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools and practices to ensure maximum learning effectiveness.
Makes recommendations to continuously improve internal processes, standards, and training solutions.
Responsible for the enrollment, tracking and reporting process for each class and training event.
Assists in-house technical and departmental trainers by providing written and verbal feedback to improve their performance, as needed.
Track and ensure 30/60/90-day reviews are completed in a timely manner for permanent/temporary employees.
Ensure that timelines are met in regards to reviews and training deadlines.
Ensure trainees are getting the needed support to be a successful partner at TC Matthews.
Ensure trainers are training in accordance with the plant training program (using SOPs, written documentation, teach and demonstrate, following defined procedures, etc).
Follow up regularly with trainees on quality of training throughout their training process.
Follow up regularly with trainers/supervisors on trainees’ progress and provide feedback as needed.
Document and update procedures, SOPs, best practices following documentation process.
Work with area managers to provide continuous skills development to fully trained operators.
Provide proficiency checks on trainees on critical skills throughout training.
Provide “train the trainer” training to selected trainers.
Work with area managers on continuous improvement projects and lean opportunities.
Performs other duties as requested or assigned.
When your expertise drives us.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in learning & development.
Experience with developing and delivering training, managing meetings.
Proficient with MS Word Office Suite.
Must be adept at creating highly effective presentations.
Capacity to work independently and in team settings with concentration on the goal and common good.
Ability to prioritize and muti-task.
Sound decision making and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may contain dust, high noise level, solvent fumes and varying temperature.
Flexibility to work overtime and/or off-shift hours.
Experience with standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear and occasionally perform production duties as necessary for training processes.
