Job Introduction
To support manufacturing operations by maintaining, trouble shooting and repairing all facilities and manufacturing equipment in a safe and orderly fashion as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
Major Responsibilities
•Attain safety, quality and productivity goals
Troubleshoot plant facilities and production equipment problems
Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion
Obtain training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements
Complete all work in accordance with OSHA, NEC, JIC and DNR standards and regulations
Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and required software
Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory
Attend training as required
Handle confidential information on a regular basis
Encourage safety and housekeeping practices and lead by example
Promote and facilitate Open Door process and Fair Treatment
Participate in Continual Improvement activities
Adhere to customer requirements, Business Operating System and company policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Education
•High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years experience as a machine repair/electrician experience or minimum 4 years experience in a technical service/repair non-trainee/apprentice role
Associate’s Degree or Certification in Machine Repair or Electrical preferred
Forklift License required

Work Environment
•The work environment is primarily manufacturing plant and is characterized by temperature extremes; loud noise and considerable tow motor traffic.
The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
Job responsibilities include heavy lifting (75 pounds), working at heights of 40 to 60 feet and in confined spaces
Personal tools may be required
Overtime as required.
