Journeyman Electrician

Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings - Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work - Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs - Read and interpret electrical schematics and logic controllers - Ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and other relevant regulations - Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical tasks - Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and carpenters, to complete renovation projects - Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentice electricians Skills: - Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician license or equivalent certification - Proficiency in high voltage and low voltage electrical work - Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures - Familiarity with electrical schematics and logic controllers - Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) - Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively - Experience in frame carpentry or maintenance person work is a plus Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
