Our *Welders *are responsible for the construction of structural steel frames, enclosures, and other fabricated parts from blueprints.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:
* MIG welding and finish grinding using fabrication techniques.
* Blueprint reading to build parts of various shapes and sizes to customer specifications.
* Weld materials such as mild, galvanneal, and stainless steel with thicknesses ranging from 18 gauge up to ¼”.
* TIG welding, saw cutting, dual-action sanding, drilling, tapping,
* Working in other departments, as needed which may include finishing, machine operations, etc.
* Must own welding helmet.
*Qualifications and Skills:*
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
* Must have a valid driver’s license.
* Must be able to pass a written and hands-on welding test.
* Math, reading, and writing skills.
* Ability to read tape measure and blueprints.
* Ability to function as a team member.
* Occasionally heavy lifting up to 75# may be required.
* Tools needed - 50/50 tool program available.
* Stand for long periods up to 10 hours a day, squat, bend, kneel and work on knees as needed for weld requirements.
