About This Role
Every position at Common Citizen from seed to sale, is contributing to our mission to serve our fellow citizens of Michigan with the highest quality, safest cannabis product through our highly individualized and education-oriented provisioning centers.
The MIP Packaging Citizen is responsible for packaging concentrates, vape cartridges, and edibles on behalf of Common Citizen.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Responsible for weighing and packaging concentrates and edibles.
Identify and communicate problems such as mold, diseases, particulate, etc.
, that may have a negative impact on quality with the MIPs Packaging Lead.
Maintaining a sanitary work environment.
Be able to see and mitigate Waste / Product and Process Defects – considering a wide variety of defects such as plant disease, harmful insects, poor product quality, etc.
Collaborate with all Citizens in improving daily tasks, proper hygiene, and communicating issues as they arise.
Ensure that all functions are performed to the highest standard of quality and compliance.
Ability to communicate using electronic media such as Slack and Outlook Email.
Perform other duties as required.
The Experience You Bring and the Skills we Need:
Problem solving skills
Must have at least 1 year (2-3 years preferable) of hands-on experience in a factory, production, fast-paced manufacturing environment, or food service industry with measurable goals and working standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to strict policies and procedures.
Ability to measure, package, and label in a precise manner.
Effective time-management skills and ability to multi-task.
This is a dynamic team, and as such daily tasks may vary, resulting in a fast paced and lively work environment.
Physical Requirements
Regularly required to sit for long periods of time.
Use hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
Reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
Occasionally required to stand and walk.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Comfortable working in a greenhouse environment (tolerance of heat & humidity).
