Job Description As an Agent in Training at the Underhill Agency, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide exceptional insurance solutions to our valued clients.
Your role will involve building and maintaining meaningful relationships, understanding client needs, and tailoring insurance packages to ensure comprehensive coverage.
This position allows for a clear path to owning your very own Farmers agency! You will have the opportunity to mentor under one of the top agencies in the state learning the ropes of insurance sales and what it takes to be an agent.
You'll make a significant impact on our business while helping individuals and families safeguard their assets and achieve peace of mind.
Salary: $40000.

Listen actively to client needs and provide tailored insurance solutions.
Insurance Expertise: Master Farmers Insurance products and explain them clearly to clients.
Simplify complex insurance concepts for easy understanding.
Sales and Prospecting: Generate leads through referrals, networking, and community outreach.
Assess client needs and recommend suitable coverage.
Consultative Selling: Review clients' current coverage and propose tailored solutions.
Address coverage gaps and offer value-added benefits.
Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with colleagues to share insights and improve strategies.
Attend meetings and training sessions to enhance sales skills.
Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and new products.
Continuously learn to provide clients with the latest information.
Documentation and Reporting: Keep organized records using CRM software.
Track interactions and monitor sales progress effectively.
Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Some sales experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
Active insurance producer license in MI, or the ability to obtain one for employment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse clientele.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Self-motivated, results-driven, and committed to achieving sales goals.
