Customer Service Representative/Insurance Agent

*Position Overview:* Local, long standing insurance agency is seeking a highly motivated, energetic, organized, team player looking for a career in the insurance industry.
*Responsibilities:* * Assist walk-in and phone customers with their policies, payments, claims, etc.
* Review renewals and endorsements for accuracy and re-quote with other carriers we have contract with if necessary.
* Record payments, process payments to carriers, input deposits * Record quote information to provide prospects with potential quotes from various carriers.
* Record/file claim information to provide to insurance carriers * Sort incoming mail and collect/stamp outgoing mail * Print company documents received via web vs.
incoming mail * File customer files via alphabetical order * Input customer data into agency management system *Requirements:* * Minimum 5 years office experience required * Minimum 2 years Property & Casualty Insurance experience required * Michigan P&C License preferred but not required * Excellent communication skills – written, verbal and listening * Self-motivated * Ability to multi-task * Must be able to work as a team with fellow employees *Benefits:* * Compensation depending on experience * Paid vacation/sick/personal time after probationary period * Health insurance/disability/life insurance provided after probationary period * 401k contributions and matching after meet qualifying number of hours worked Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
