About the Role The goal of Consume Cannabis Co.
is to ensure that all customers have the best possible experience with cannabis.
The role of Lead Advisor is crucial to accomplishing this goal as the Lead Advisor oversees the daily operations of the sales floor while reporting to the General Manager.
Communication is a must for ensuring a smooth business flow between the reception area and the sales floor while maintaining optimal customer experience.
The Lead Advisor is a key holding position that is responsible for both opening and closing duties as scheduled.
Duties/Responsibilities Serves as a resource for dispensary staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news and changes in regulations.
Responds to staff questions, concerns, or suggestions, involving management when such questions, concerns, or suggestions impact store operations.
Responsible for delegating tasks to Advisors in order to maintain a compliant and clean facility.
Coordinates with the upper management to ensure accurate information is communicated to dispensary staff.
Provides training on point of sales (POS) system and other dispensary processes and procedures.
Performs Advisor duties when needed.
Provides superior customer service for vendors, patients/customers, and caregivers.
Responds to all patient/customer complaints, requests, concerns, and suggestions, informing management and involving management when necessary.
Oversees online orders and curbside pick up to ensure accurate order information and timeliness if online ordering and curbside pick up is available at the location.
Maintains accurate records of all dispensary activities including daily cash reconciliations, patient/customer records, sales, deliveries and returns in accordance with the State and the standards set by Company.
Ensures accuracy in daily, weekly, and monthly recaps and reporting from sales data and patient counts.
Provide regular inventory, sales and profitability reports to the Management Team as requested.
Performs other duties.
Physical Requirements Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout the facility.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to access products.
Must Haves Education and Experience: To remain compliant with state law, must be 21 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of customer service/fast paced retail environment.
Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit with attention to detail.
Demonstrates ability and experience in managing high-volume, scaling industries.
Strong organizational and execution skills.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities.
Developed leadership skills and the ability to coach and mentor employees.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Desired Qualifications Associate degree in business, management, or related field.
3 years of management experience.
State Cannabis knowledge and understanding of cannabis products preferred.
