The Food and Beverage Supervisor (age 21+) is responsible for supervising the daily directives of our Food Service staff.
This is a SEASONAL, full-time position and reports to the Food and Beverage Manager.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Administrative Duties
Complete required reports on a timely basis
Assist with the monitoring of sales and make adjustments to the menu (i.
e.
, pricing and specials)
Schedules staff, monitors payroll, and maintains compliance with a payroll budget
Conducts daily stand up meetings with food and beverage staff to prioritize the day and facilitates feedback from staff members
Participates in the recruitment process and selection of talent for the food and beverage department
Participates in the development and execution of training programs for new hires as well as ongoing training for staff members
Daily Duties
Supervises daily food outlet operations to ensure successful execution of all lodge standards and completion of daily tasks and assignments
Assists with the overall operation of the restaurant(s), including; Point of Sale transactions, expediting, re-stocking
Ensures that outlets are sanitized, cleaned, stocked, and set up correctly at the start of and throughout the shift while always adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies
Provides coaching, encouragement, and recognition to staff members regularly
Monitors the performance of staff, providing real-time feedback and coaching
Maintains quality of the operation by ensuring service excellence, ensuring adequate supply and food inventory levels, and operation of equipment by troubleshooting, maintenance, and/or calling for repair
Monitor and maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
Monitor cash drawers and ensure cash handling procedures are followed
Other Essential Duties
Collaborate with park and home office departments
Coordinate and oversee various projects from start to finish
Respond to guest inquiries using the company’s service recovery guidelines
Utilize and learn reservation system for daily planning
Participate in other projects and activities as assigned
EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
Food service experience required
State required certification
Experience in customer service and hospitality preferred
