Bar Lead/Bartender

*Role Description* This is an on-site role for a Bar Lead at a private wedding venue located in Battle Creek, MI.
The Bar Lead will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the bar service, including supervision of bar staff, executing event prep and set up and strike, ensuring compliance with licensing and safety regulations, and providing excellent customer service to all guests.
This position is a seasonal, part-time position.
*Qualifications* * Experience working as a bartender or in a similar role * Strong knowledge of different types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages * Ability to create and execute drink menus tailored to each event * Excellent customer service and professional communication * Collaborate with event planners and venue coordinators to fulfill beverage service requirements for events * Execute in the setup and breakdown of bar stations for events * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations * Maintain accurate inventory counts of all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks * Knowledge of licensing and safety regulations related to alcohol service * Experience supervising a team or bar staff *Requirements* * Certification in responsible alcohol service preferred (TIPS or ServSafe) * Nights and weekends required * Strong leadership skills * Passionate for hospitality and a commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal, Contract Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week Shift: * Day shift * Evening shift Weekly day range: * Every weekend Experience: * Bartending: 2 years (Required) Work Location: In person
