The Plant Manager will oversee and manage daily operations of an ISO 9001:2015 manufacturing facility.
This includes but is not limited to overseeing production shift employees while ensuring compliance of safety and quality standards in addition to maintaining adequate inventory levels of product.
The ideal candidate is a proven leader with mechanical capabilities and an aspiration to continually look for ways to elevate production methods and levels.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Trains and manages production employees.
Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.
Maintains quality records and requirements for machinery & materials.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversees all production operations on a daily basis.
Prepares work schedules to ensure efficient operations.
Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment.
Ensures that products are identified, weighed, and warehoused correctly.
Troubleshoots issues that arise.
Works to correct equipment problems with personal skills or oversees sub-contractors.
Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
Ensures paperwork is completed and signed correctly.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Works closely with administrative personnel to monitor inventory levels, receipts of raw materials and documentation for all goods in house.
Continually works to monitor cost controlling policy and procedures.

Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn production operations and machinery.
Mechanical aptitude with desire to encourage mechanical education with employees.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior exceptional work experience with the company preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to traverse the production facility.
Must be able to lift 55 pounds at a time.
