We are interested in applicants with the potential to fulfill additional roles within our organization based on availability, experiences, and qualifications; however, this is not a requirement.
*An ideal candidate will have documented experiences with:*
● an *unwavering *commitment to embracing a community and being part of a community all year long, working with other stakeholders to build and sustain football programming
● a strong desire to impact the lives of children and youth, especially those at the secondary level, and working to ensure that they thrive as an athlete, student and community member
● ability to demonstrate leadership during difficult situations
● ability to communicate positively and honestly with student-athletes, families, and the community at large
● the ability to assemble and guide a cohesive coaching staff OR ensure a new coaching staff thrives in a new community
_*They must be able to collaborate with others to:*_
● cultivate a culture of collective *accountability*, encouraging ownership for student achievement, prioritizing academic and social-emotional needs of students with all stakeholders (students, parents, families, coaching staff, teachers, staff, and administrators)
● foster a sense of collective accountability not only for oneself and each other but also for the team's objectives, growth, and sportsmanship, both on and off the field
● build and elevate an understanding of how academics and athletics work together to produce well-rounded student-athletes capable of excelling both on and off the field
*Other experiences we are interested in but are not required, as the ideal candidate is coachable:*
● know and follow MHSAA rules and regulations; meet all certification standards of MHSAA, including
AED, CPR, First-Aid, CAP training
● experience with establishing a budget and strategic fundraising, a commitment to allocating funds to impact student-athletes directly
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Part-time
Pay: $5,000.
