We are currently looking for a full-time Quality Analyst who will be a part of our team responsible for the systematic approach to quality ensuring customer satisfaction through superior product quality and supporting the Color Certification Program in our Battle Creek, MI facility.

Participatory management
When your actions lead to success.
Develop and enhance the current supplier COA (Certificate of Analysis) process by evaluating the current process, determine strategic actions that can be taken to minimize non-value-added activities and collaboratively engage others in the optimized process.
Extract and analyze SQC Pack data to recommend COA process improvements.
Maintain QA equipment calibration log, ensure current calibration status for all equipment and calibration standards, and schedule supplier calibration visits as necessary.
Assist with BRC compliance as required by the Quality Manager or Food Safety Practitioner.
Audit systems and processes for BRC compliance.
Assist with the document control software (MasterControl).
Drive activities to obtain departmental goals and objectives.
Coordinate testing activities, timelines, and customer expectations.
Participate in Quality team activities.
Generate documentation, report information and results with accuracy and ensure that proper procedures are employed as outlined by the Quality Management System.
Familiarity with QA practices and procedures including statistical process control, blueprint reading, use of measuring devices, checking aids/fixtures, computer applications, mechanical testing, customer and BRC compliance.

) or technical degree in related field or equivalent.
Two (2) or more years of demonstrated expertise in quality systems and working with production reporting and product quality requirements.
Two (2) years quality analyst or similar experience is desired.
A good ability to question data and question unexpected outcomes.
Laboratory techniques and safety practices.
Computer literacy especially in Excel and Word.
Knowledge of Quality tools (e.
g.
NCR, CAR, Fishbone, 5Why).
Excellent organizational skills, work under tight deadlines, ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Strong interpersonal with both written and verbal communication skills.
