*Job Description:*
This is a full-time, on-site Chief Financial Officer position located in Albion, MI.
The CFO will lead the company's financial strategy, planning, and analysis efforts.
The CFO will develop and implement financial policies and procedures, and oversee all accounting practices, including month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls.
The CFO will also provide strategic financial guidance to company leadership and work collaboratively with cross-functional departments to drive financial performance, enhance profitability, and accelerate business growth.
*Qualifications*
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; *master’s degree preferred*
* *CPA designation or equivalent experience*
* *10+ years of finance and accounting experience,*
* *At least 5 years of experience in a management role.
*
* Experience in engineering-based *manufacturing and/or renewable energy* industries strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with SEC rules and regulations and SOX compliance
* Knowledge of working capital and cash flow management, and experience with building and managing complex financial models
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent leadership and strategic thinking abilities
for financial and tax reporting.
* Ensure timely filing of tax documents and returns.
* Coordinate provision of information to external auditors and ensure timely audits.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.
